Ideen Shafaee is a multi-style percussionist and instrumentalist of Cajon, Udu and Handpan, born in 1987 in Tehran.
Despite his great interest in visual arts, he never studied art and graduated in accounting from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tehran.
Due to his interest in flamenco music, he started playing the guitar at the age of 16, but after an accident, he was forced to abandon it and in 2005 he began learning Cajon on his own.
He started playing in the theater and has since participated in many international albums and concerts in various musical styles as a percussionist.
Among his other important experiences were holding numerous workshops on playing the Cajon and Udu as an inspector and writing the Tutorial book “How to Play Udu
