Education & Musical Training

• Bachelor’s Degree in Global Instrument Performance – University of Art, Tehran
• Studied clarinet from age 12 at IRIB Music Conservatory and Tehran Music Conservatory under Mohammad Hossein Pourmoein and Rahmat Afshar
• Completed bass clarinet masterclasses with Ulrich Drechsler (Austria) and Klaus Gesing

Professional Experience

• Leader of Rood Ensemble and principal clarinetist & bass clarinetist with ISO Orchestra, conducted by Peter Sommerer, Christian Schulz, and Maziar Younesi
• Collaborations with:

  • National Orchestra of Iran under Farhad Fakhreddini

• Recorded Iranian compositions with Tehran Symphony Orchestra under Ali Rahbari
• Performed at Ravenna Festival (Italy) with Tehran Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Riccardo Muti
• Two solo recitals at Tehran Contemporary Music Festival
• Played Tartini Clarinet Concerto at the Baroque Night of Fajr International Festival with ISO Orchestra & guest soloist Francis Poché
